question What do you offer at templatedeck.com?
I offer a collection of well designed, tableless and valid XHTML/CSS templates which can be used to build up a complete website. Every template package includes all necessary images and fonts, a set of ready linked subpages, a mainpage, the used Photoshop CS source file (layered and sliced) and any additional stuff if needed. They all come with sample content to show how they can look like. Simply replace this content with your own and you have a full working website.
All templates are offered to the templatedeck.com members only. You can become a member for a small price here

question Do you offer just one fixed package of  templates or can I expect new templates during my membership?
We will upload new templates from time to time. So the collection will grow while your membership. In the members forum you can suggest new designs and you can preview upcoming templates.

question Can I use the templates after my membership expires?
Yes, you can use them after your account is closed. You can´t download them again and you don´t have access to the member forum anymore or to new templates but you can use them furthermore.

question How does the sign up process work? Which payment methode do you offer?
It is realy simple. Just go to the "Join!" page, select your membership plan and enter your user account informations (username, password, mail adress). question What do I need to change/edit the template?
You need a bit of basic HTML knowledge to change the sample content to your content, a bit of webspace (<-mostly less than 1mb) and a  so called FTP (file transfer protocol) tool to transfer the website from your local computer to your webspace. Here you find a list of free FTP tools. To edit the HTML source you need a simple text editor like wordpad or others. But its easier to use a HTML editor. A good open source (free) editor is NVU. You can download it here but of course you can also use commercial tools like Dreamweaver, Frontpage or GoLive and any other HTML or text editor you prefere.
To edit the images you need a graphic tool. The template packages includes a "blank" version of the logo/title image where you can add your text or logo. If you want to change the .psd source you need a copy of Adobes Photoshop CS+. If you don´t want to buy a copy you can download a 30trial version here.

question I don´t have a PayPal account and want to pay with my credit card. What should I do?
After you are redirected to the PayPal payment gateway page you can click on the "Sign up for a PayPal account and continue checkout"  in the lower left corner. Enter your credit card informations and confirm the payment. PayPal will charge your credit card and you don´t need to open a PayPal account before you join the club or buy a template. PayPal generates your account "on the fly" and it is a very fast process.

question Before I have to read the long versions of the "terms of use", what are the primary restrictions of use?
- You can´t resell the templates, or offer them for free to others.
- You don´t become the exclusive owner of the templates.
- You can´t claim that you or any of your associates have designed the template(s).
- It is not allowed to share your account with other persons or to put your account data (username and password) to any website.
- If you sign up to a "Personal Membership" plan it is not allowed to remove the "design by:templatedeck.com" footer link and to use the templates for clients/customer projects ("third parties").
- If you sign up to a "Professional Membership" plan it is not allowed to use the templates for clients/customer projects ("third parties")
